This update bring the ability to send and received Multimedia files, If you didn’t knew about this app, WhatsApp is a messaging app which allows you to exchange messages with your friends and contacts without having to pay for SMS. The service uses your internet dataplan (wifi/gprs/edge/3G) to connect to the service and other whatsapp members. The best part is that your phone number is your account, so hence whatsapp is able to go through your phonebook and tell you who else is using the service too.
