Guys at thenokiablog demoed the JoikuSpot Premium on their Nokia N8, with JoikuSpot Premium you can turn your phone into a WiFi hotspot. This application now available for symbian^3 devices (Nokia N8, C7, and E7) at the Ovi Store.

You can connect your iPad, laptop, or other devices to internet using your mobile phone as a 3G modem. There’s no need for a USB dongle, cable, or bluetooth connection. Joikuspot also has ability to password protect your hotspot.

Nokia E52 has just get a firmware update version 42.010 which comes with great new features, performance improvements and updated applications. You can get this latest update via OTA (Over-The-Air), Nokia’s Software Updater or Ovi Suite. The Nokia E5 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), but its always good idea to backup all of your personal data before updating the device firmware.

Note: It may take some time before the new firmware is available for your region.

With Nokia Internet Radio  you can listen to thousands of Radio Stations online which organised by genre, language, and region,  search to discover something new or locate a specific station, and you can even purchase Music from the Ovi Store.

Internet radio supports hide and unhide functions. Whenever you need to check your Inbox or look up a contact, let the radio continue playing in the background and you will not miss any wonderful programmes.

The Nokia N900 yesterday got official firmware update to version PR 1.3 (V20.2010.36-2). According from the official changelog, this update brings improvements on its performance and also now support Nokia Ovi Suite. Note that it may take a few days before the firmware is released in your region (depending on your N900 product code).

This update can be installed via over the air (OTA). To install the new firmware on your device using Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA), launch the Application Manager and select “update”. You might want to use a WLAN/Wifi connection and avoid doing this over GPRS/3G if you’re on a limited DataPlan, since the FOTA update is reportedly quite large.
