Opera today announced Opera Mini 5.1 Beta for Symbian 60. Optimized for almost all Series 60 handsets, the Opera Mini 5.1 Beta support Series 60 v2.0 handsets and above. This beta currently only available in English but Opera has stated that multilingual support should be coming out pretty soon.

Guys at blog-n8.fr demoed the Opera Mobile beta 2 on the Nokia N8. If you want to download Opera Mobile browser for your Symbian^3 devices just go to this link.
Opera Mobile 10.1 now is available too for Nokia N900 and you can download this update from the extras-testing repository.

Known issues:

- Fast scrolling not optimized for page rendering.
- Adobe Flash and other plugins are not supported.
- Screen tearing may be visible when panning, especially in portrait mode.
- The built-in on-screen keyboard is not supported. Use the physical keyboard or the on screen keyboard included with Opera Mobile.
Opera Mini is a web browser designed primarily for mobile phones, but also for smartphones and personal digital assistants. It uses the Java ME platform and consequently requires that the mobile device be capable of running Java ME applications.
